At long last, after years of begging, pleading and petition signing, the holy grail of British schlock fi has finally been issued on DVD and Blu-Ray. They are available now from Amazon and direct from Olive Films.

I am glad to hear of it- One of my favorite parts of the film is the disclaimer at the begining during the opening credits that informing the viewers that the scenes in space were fictional.

Ah yes, a thing of joy and amazement from credits to close. And don't forget Cy Roth's fascinating dialog like this: "It's probable, but highly doubtful."

BTW, the DVD is sharp as a tack with good audio. I haven't sampled the Blu-ray disc.

I just saw part of the Olive Films print of FIRE MAIDENS FROM OUTER SPACE on You Tube where it is posted with a dubbed over Russian soundtrack. It is as you said a nice clear print that is better than the other print posted on You Tube that was pretty dark.
